The Community is being Impacted

In a region with little access to humanitarian assistance, the Abundant Life Churches extend healing to the local community by tackling the complicated issues that many face.

Church Buildings

These church buildings are a visible platform for outreach, weddings, funerals, baptisms, and community services. You can help as we maintain these bastions for ministry.

Check out these strategic needs. Please pray about how you can give to make outreach even more effective in Naples.

Parking Lot at Casoria Church

It’s time for a new parking lot!  The original pavement was installed in 1988, and over the years of weather and normal wear and tear, the parking lot has deteriorated.  There is a developing sink hole which has resulted in leaks into the church building.  From a safety and security standpoint, this is an urgent need.

Current Need

$10,000

$0

Funding Deadline: November 2018

Includes demolition, debris removal, restructuring of underlayment and new pavement.

Roof Top at the Casoria Church

It’s time to resurface the roof!  The church was completed in 1988, and over the years of weather and normal wear and tear, the roof surface has deteriorated beyond conventional repair.

Current Need

$13,500

$0

Funding Deadline: March 2019

This includes removal of current surface, all needed repairs and resurfacing.

Brick Siding at the Casoria Church

In 1988, the new brick walls of the church communicated credibility and longevity.  While the church itself still stands as a beacon in the Casoria community, the walls are not faring as well.  Over the years of weather and normal wear and tear, the bricks and mortar have deteriorated and become a safety hazard. Over 5000 square feet of bricks need to be repaired or replaced.

Current Need

$27,000

$0

Funding Deadline: June 2019

This includes scaffolding, debris removal, materials and installation.

Worship Center Floor at the Melito Church

Resin flooring is poured by hand in several layers, which build up to approximately 4mm in depth. Expert installers ensure that this results in a perfectly level and smooth floor, with a seamless finish. Poured resin flooring is therefore both stylish and elegant, as well as practical and comfortable. It will, also, outlast any traditional type of laid tile.  While making the sanctuary more suitable for church and public events, it will also help with acoustics and reduce utility bills.

Current Need

$48,000

$0

Funding Deadline: February 2020

This includes preparation of the current surface, materials and professional installation.

(*This is an estimate at the time the campaign was started and is based on a detailed budget. Giving to this fund will be applied directly to the intended campaign.)

Kitchen Install at the Melito Church

Culturally, food and family are central to life in Italy.  Yet the new Melito church building does not have a kitchen.  A large scale kitchen will allow for church events such as weddings and potlucks, as well as allow for hospitality for public events and outreach events.

Current Need

$38,700

$0

Funding Deadline: June 2020

This includes preparation of the existing kitchen space, plumbing, gas, tile floor installation, and all equipment.

Other Community Outreach

Il Vecchio Mulino (The Old Mill Camp)

Nestled in the countryside, Il Vecchio Mulino (The Old Mill Camp) hosts church members and invited guests alike.  Here, people escape the city and discover God through weeklong and weekend camps such as marriage and family retreats, English camps, youth camps and more.

Humanitarian

Like any city, Naples has its share of crime, pain and violence.  Compelled by the Good News of redemption and hope, many in the churches serve through visitation in hospitals and prisons and ministering among those caught in prostitution and human trafficking.
